Sinical Magazine: When were you born and where? Where are you currently located?
Eleine: I was born on September 18th, 1990, in the south of Sweden, and I’m still located here.
Sinical Magazine: How did you get started in modeling?
Eleine: I’ve been a musician for a long time, and about 2 years ago I got signed by a record label named Cardiac Records. We all decided we should do an epic metal album, and I really felt more comfortable with myself being an alternative woman. I tried out for a photo shoot, and people kept telling me that the results were amazing and that I should send an application to the Nocturnal Model Agency, and I did. They accepted me, and today both my modeling and music walk hand in hand.
Sinical Magazine: What was the first magazine you came across that made you want to become a model? If not a magazine, what inspired you?
Eleine: First, it was music that inspired me. Everything went so fast. When I was accepted by my agency, a whole new world opened up for me. All my new colleagues inspired me, and early on I got in touch with Sil Costa that runs a big gothic page named Gothic and Amazing. She inspired me a lot, and still does. I’m really grateful.
Sinical Magazine: What do you think makes a model stand out from others?
Eleine: Knowing what you want to achieve.
Sinical Magazine: From a model’s perspective, what do you think is the most important aspect of a photo?
Eleine: I always aim to make you feel the picture, to convey an emotion.
Sinical Magazine: What are your measurements?
Eleine: I’m 162 cm tall. Chest: 82cm. Waist: 58cm. Hips: 76cm.
Sinical Magazine: What is your shoe size?
Sinical Magazine: Clothing wise, what are your fetishes and why?
Eleine: I love latex. I really wish I could do even more photo shoots with latex. I love the way it feels on my skin. Besides latex, I love corsets, gothic clothing with lace, and tiny waists. There’s something special about wearing a very tight corset, I admire the beautiful hour-glass figure it creates.
Sinical Magazine: There are dark and gothic themes in your work. Can you talk about this?
Eleine: I get inspired by everything, from “American Horror Story” to a dead bird on the ground. I did a photo shoot with Felicia Püschl that was truly inspired by the dark story of Elisabeth Bathory. It’s a horrible and tragic story, but I can’t help finding it intriguing. I love the dark stories in our history.
Sinical Magazine: What are some of your favorite horror films?
Eleine: I really do love the team behind “American Horror Story”. It’s so perfect. But it’s a tv-series, though. I like “The Blair Witch Project”, “The Exorcist”, “The Chainsaw Massacre”, the first “Saw” and so many more. Asian horror movies are some of the best.
Sinical Magazine: What type of music do you listen to?
Eleine: It depends on what type of mood I’m in. Everything from melodic death metal, to progressive metal, to heavy metal, both old and new.
So in short, metal.
Sinical Magazine: Besides modeling, what else do you like to do for fun?
Eleine: I enjoy the company of family and friends, playing xbox, working out, writing music and meeting new people. I enjoy life.
Sinical Magazine: What’s up next for you?
Eleine: Besides photo shoots for different companies, we’re working on the last pieces of my debut album. It will be released under the name Eleine, and will be available in September. April 3rd is the release date for my first single “Gathering Storm”, along with a music video.
