Sinical Magazine: When were you born and where? Where are you currently located?
Ewel: I was born in Slovakia where I work at the moment. But, of course, I’m very fond of travelling in terms of work.
Sinical Magazine: How did you get started in modeling?
Ewel: Back in high school one friend of mine who was a photographer needed to shoot one project and he found me as a good object. So you can imagine the rest of it.
Sinical Magazine: What was the first magazine you came across that made you want to become a model? If not a magazine, what inspired you?
Ewel: This basic and simple question seems pretty difficult to me. It was a strange sequence of events. Probably I don’t realize that people around see me as a model. Well, it is kind of a between “wanted to do” and “just happen” answer.
Sinical Magazine: What do you think makes a model stand out from others?
Ewel: Being herself, being ambitious and never believing that her maximum was reached. Nothing more.
Sinical Magazine: What kind of shoots would you like to work on in the future?
Ewel: I love shooting editorials and I’d love to be the face of brands like Toxico, Queen of Darkness, Alchemy Gothic or Iron Fist… or even more, to be a Sullen Angel?
Sinical Magazine: What are your measurements?
Ewel: 87 – 62 – 87 and I am 172 cm tall.
Sinical Magazine: What is your shoe size?
Ewel: EU 39, UK 8.
Sinical Magazine: Clothing wise, what are your fetishes and why?
Ewel: I like minimalism in fashion. Most of my wardrobe is black - time after time you can find some grey, purple and pink pieces, but only a few. I love good quality materials and hate jewellery. I travel a lot and am always in a rush so there is no time or energy for glamorous make up or high heels in my everyday life, but I’ll never have enough shoes and handbags as every girl.
Sinical Magazine: I know you are a part of a creative team in the alternative style (My Deers and Wolf - Creative Crew) could you describe this project?
Ewel: Yes of course. My Deers and Wolf is a creative team that creates the most perfect product promo art photos. I would describe it as “high dark fashion”. I put a lot of energy and hope in this project. Sometimes we call each other early in the morning or late at night if someone gets some good ideas. Anyone with enthusiasm and good portfolio can join us, we still look for new people (designers, models, make-up stylists) and anyone can book a shooting.
Sinical Magazine: What are some of your favorite horror films?
Ewel: It’s hard to say but Im absolutely scared of horror movies so Im not really a fan of them. It’s an unnecessary extra stress for me. Prefer softer, more artistic versions like Lars Von Trier’s “Antichrist”, “The Shining” or “Let The Right One In”.
Sinical Magazine: What type of music do you listen to?
Ewel: There is quite a lot of music genres that I like, Im really open minded. Often I listen to Die Antwoord, Fever Ray, Crystal Castle, Bonaparte, and IAMX. I like to search for music without prejudice. If anyone’s interested in my musical taste, he can find me under eweloffical on YouTube.
Sinical Magazine: Besides modeling, what else do you like to do for fun?
Ewel: My work is my pleasure so I’m such a go-getter and a workaholic at a zombie level.
Sinical Magazine: What’s up next for you?
Ewel: I am learning to tattoo now so I would love to became a big time artist. Of course being more involved in the international scene, be the best in my profession, making the “My Dears and Wolf” project a big name in the scene and lose some weight.
